Martin Sandberg, better known as Max Martin is a producer/songwriter for some of the biggest names in pop music. This norweigan resident has also been an an artist and engineer throughout his life. He is responsible for some of the biggest hits from artists like Celine Dion, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Pink, Katy Perry and more. Max has also collaborated with other popular producers like Dr. Luke and Denniz Pop.

Max Martin got his start as an artist in the band “It’s Alive” which in turn was signed by producer Denniz Pop.   The group did well in Europe and Max quickly became a fixture in Denniz’s studio Cherion, and became the house songwriter.  In the 1990’s Cherion studios became an international success with Ace of Base’s “The Sign” and then the ever so popular Backstreet Boys.   Since then Max has released a slew of hits from throughout the years. After Denniz Pop passed, Max became the cheif of Cherion and has kept it running til 2001. He recently opened another studio called Maratone Studios which is still open to date.

Max is best known for a very specific sound that many refer to as the Cherion sound.  It is a formula of pop music that has proven to be very effective for him and allowed him to create hit after hit.   He writes most of his music collaboratively with other top notch producers like Dr. Luke, Denniz Pop, Herbie Crichlow, Rami Yacoub, and Shellback. You will see that most of his music follows the hit formula for songwriting.

Max Martin has had a lot of successes over the last 25 years, and is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.   It will be interesting to see what is to come from this very talented songwriter and producer.

Please could you give me some idea of how much Max Martin charges to write a song

It would really depend on if you are a new upcoming artist or an established artist. I have heard of certian producers making up to a million a song. My guess would be 5-6 figures
