You will never run out of iPhone peripherals to try among the plenty choices offered for passionate music lovers, who are always on the go. One of these is the Fingerist, developed by Evenno, you can just plug and play this iPhone/iPod touch accessory and this will enable your apps to play as if you’re playing a guitar.

This works so simple. Put your iPhone/iPod touch into the middle of the device and you will hear it through its built in speaker.  Can be operated with 3 AAs and can run for six hours. Also it has line output and volume knob.

The Fingerist is available now in the US for $150 – at that price, we think you’re going to have to be a pretty committed iPhone instrumentalist to invest. What’s more, like all dock-connecting iOS peripherals, it’s not universally compatible: only the iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod touch 2nd and 3rd generation are supported, meaning that The Fingerist won’t work with the latest versions of each.

Hats off to Evenno for being bold enough to bring this thing to market though: we wish it well.

Have you ever heard of the app called Shazam? It listens to any song that is playing through your phones microphone, then it will tell y ou want song it is. It is free and very useful, when you want to know the name of a song you are listening too.
