A Korg iMs-20 on iPad App

Korg iMS-20 application will give a feel of using legendary Korg MS-20 semi-modular analog synth, along with a built-in 16-step analog sequencer, based on the Korg SQ-10. It will bring a total transformation of your iPad into a modular synth in just a matter of minutes.

Just to give a little background, MS-20 was first launched in 1978 and gained popularity for its undisputed features which include aggressive analog filters and inexhaustible potential for creative patching. The Korg SQ-10, in addition was introduced in the late1970s.  All of the SQ-10’s classic and unique functionality, such as three channels of voltage control and six types of sequence modes, is also included.

The introduction of this new iMS-20 also comes with improvements not found on the legendary MS-20 such as easy control of notes, volume, pan, or synth/effect parameters. We can say that truly, iMs-20 is a complete music production studio but what makes it more amazing is it is also equipped with dual Kaoss pad control surfaces – one for note creation as made famous by Korg’s Kaossilator, and one for manipulating parameter values in real-time, as found on Korg’s Kaoss series of effects processors.
